Sean has more than 20 years’ experience consulting to a broad range of business owners in diverse businesses, and at varying scales of operations from start-ups to established national brands. Sean has coached and mentored businesses owners and senior executives in Australia and internationally, advising on strategy and business development. His expertise includes business model redesign, business planning for growth, effective marketing and sales execution, mergers and acquisitions and dealing with the very complex issues of succession planning, sale and other exits. Sean has assisted clients transfer $150 million of business assets between generations and has also advised on the sale or acquisition of businesses assets valued in excess of $75 million.
Nikki is passionate about helping business owners build robust systems that improve business results and leverage management’s effectiveness and reach. With more than 15 years’ experience in business administration and management Nikki supports businesses owners and executives, advising on HR management and recruitment, marketing strategy and execution, business process and blueprinting. Currently Nikki supports a number of our clients with their business systems and has embraced the world of virtual teams with both hands. We don’t know how she does it, but Nikki has proven her strengths in managing her time, balancing business needs and client demands – all from her laptop!
James Mason is Managing Director of Mindshop. He personally designs over 165 leadership/strategy training workshops Mindshop run annually to organisations ranging from billion dollar corporations to micro businesses. James has a wealth of experience designing leadership programs to achieve commercial objectives. He provides program architecture and support to the Business By Design team through our business alliance partnership.
Andrew Hodges is a business coach with over 25 years experience working in large organisations. He is also a certified distributor of Harrison Assessments. Andrew supports Business By Design to provide tailored solutions for businesses and organisations to acquire and develop talented staff. He also assists our team to implement employee engagement systems, development programs and succession planning objectives.
Mike’s purpose in life is to ‘create environments of potential’. There is no better setting in which to practice this mission than in the world of sales. After starting his career as an eager graphic reproducer in the depths of a pre-press house, Mike quickly found his forte and entered the world of sales. Moving swiftly, the peak of his learning came from working at Xerox, he brings his years of experience at a myriad of organisations into the practices and beliefs at Banjar Group. Mike’s extensive experience has allowed him to connect with people from all industries and walks of life across the globe. The common thread in all these interactions is the universal desire of people to ‘do better’. His clients have included Microsoft in 11 countries, AMP, BNP Paribas in 4 countries, Macquarie Bank in 4 countries, NSW Bar Association, Deutsche Bank, five different Ombudsman’s Offices in Australia and New Zealand, The Royal College of Physicians, the OECD and United Nations. He is the co-author of the best-selling book 'Switch on Your Brain'; author of the 'Negotiator’s Toolkit', and is one of the co-authors of 'Beyond Yes - Negotiating and Networking'. James is an experienced business advisor and company director having held senior management roles in highly competitive markets including retail, financial services and energy. A seasoned business and marketing strategist, James has developed and delivered high levels of strategic insight and creativity in identifying and rolling out new business strategies and product innovation. As the Principal of Vantage Strategy & Marketing James works with a wide range of organisations helping them clarify their strategy and implement change. Since 2008 Vantage has helped clients from more than 20 industries grow and prosper. James has over 16 years experience as a non-executive director, including as Chair of two organisations. He currently is the Chair of hockingstuart, Deputy Chair of Greening Australia and a non-executive director of Connective Group, BIG4 Holdings, Your Porter and Circus Oz. James has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and is Graduate of the Company Directors course and The Role of the Chairman course at the AICD.
Glen Knight is our lean specialist. With a diverse career spanning over 28 years, Glen has worked with many companies to implement quality management systems, lean thinking and lean practices in the workplace. Glen also delivers Lean programs from Certificate III to Advance Diplomas in lean systems and practices. He is our teams go to man when it comes to service and product deliver improvements for our clients. As Glen says . . .
