We are all on the front lines of this war. Every one of us, every business out there is in it whether you are a general, meaning an owner or the leader of a business, or a soldier doing the hand to hand combat.
This worldwide war is not against each other; It is against the axis of evil. A virus, a biological virus, a mental virus, and an economic virus. Here at Business By Design we are one of the Allied Forces that will help you win the war.
We are on the front lines here helping you, to support your business leaders and high achievers. Our job is to help you stabilise, analyse, find your focus, and lead your teams and businesses forward into this new future that’s unfolding right before us. This war has only really begun and unfortunately, more blood will run through the streets. Stick with us here so that you can do your best to be sure it is not yours, your teams’ or your clients’.
The call to action that I gave my team was we must become a wartime A-Team. I want you to consider it for your team, Here’s 3 keys to be a wartime A-Team;
1. Speed of change. The world is already changing at a breakneck pace. The five-year plan is already a thing of the past. At present we cannot even plan four to six months out. In some cases, not even a week out. The battleground changes hour by hour. Our bias must be a bias towards action, immediate and massive action. We must become comfortable acting quickly, even amidst ambiguity and lack of information. At times you may need to just ‘break the glass’ and forget the policies and protocol you have in place and ‘Just Act’.
2. Communication. With a battleground changing so rapidly, we need to speed up our real time action reports. Keeping everybody in the loop is always important, but in an emergency, it can be life changing. We need to be continually pivoting and adapting with real time reports from the front line. The understanding and management of this information is critical, and it goes along with rule 3.
3. Hard decisions. Prioritising your time is more important than ever. Every minute counts and you need to ensure that you use yours to make hard decisions. These hard decisions and choices should be based on a hierarchy of needs and a priority of positive impact. Frequently ask, “Is what I’m giving my attention to helping or hurting my ability to be strong for our business?”. Also, “What else can I do to bring value and positive results to our team and to our clients?”
We are your Allied Force!
Remember, a hero is just an ordinary person like you and me, put into an extraordinary circumstance, like right now. This person then chooses to step up and take action, meaning they answer their call to duty.
You were meant to be here. At this time in our history, and this is why we at Business By Design are here too. We have the tools here to beat the axis of evil. That’s our battle. We can help the business leaders and achievers stand victorious at the end of this war. We can help them come out of this crisis a stronger and more capable leader than when they went into this crisis. A leader who brings financial abundance to their families, to their teams and to their communities. We got this. It’s time to fight so let’s do it together.
So, we ask you – As a leader, have you called the troops and prepared them for duty? Have you sounded the alarm and explained the gravity of the situation? Have you outlined the wartime expectations and prepared them to give it their all? Do they know the consequences of failure, the loss of security, legacy, team members and their financial future? Now is the time to take swift aggressive action as a leader. To help you ready your troops for battle Download our WAGING WAR Guide and follow the checklist to ensure your business is victorious.
No one ever wants War, but here it is. This is the War of our lifetime and you were born to be here on the front lines.
